Eagle Eye Kits:

We have compiled several kits to ensure you receive the correct components for your installation. You can add additional components including post and attachment fittings to ensure the units are correctly fitted to the facility or situation. These kits have been designed to help simplify the grouping and component requirements as well as assisting with the purchasing, installation and delivery of the system.

EE-KIT001 Eagle Eye Solar kit - 10 watt

This is the preferred method for solar installations in Southern Australia (Victoria and South Australia). It can be installed as supplied and upgraded to lights at a later stage if needed. It incorporates a battery back up that allows LED lights to be run for 1-2 hours at dawn or dusk if needed. This is very important if birds are entering the area during pre-dawn, late afternoon or after dusk as the suns intensity will be failing or non-existent. Use solar run lighting as a last resort if 240v is not available. Note that 240v kits are the preferred option when running LED light systems due to power consumption.

EE-KIT002 Eagle Eye Solar Kit 5 watt

This is the preferred method for solar installations in Northern Australia (NSW, WA, NT and QLD). This system should run 24 hours per day but may stop for short periods (during the winter month after several days of cloudy weather). If contemplating the use of lights now or in the future, use with EE-KIT001, EE-KIT003 or EE-KIT004.

EE-KIT003 Eagle Eye Basic Plug-In 240v Kit (for indoor/outdoor use)

This is the simplest form of 240v installation and can be “self-installed” by an Accredited Eagle Eye installer as it is plugged into a 240v general purpose outlet (GPO). The power point, plug and transformer must be in a waterproof area. Mount the transformer on a wall close to the power point (within 1.5m). The system is supplied with 10m of water resistant lead. Additional 5m and 20m cables area also available on request. The system can also run 2 x 2w LEDs. A plug in timer (not supplied) can also dictate running times if needed.

EE-KIT004 Eagle Eye 240v Kit (for indoor/outdoor use)

This is the best form of 240v installation but must be “hard-wired” into the building by a qualified and licensed electrician. The PSU can be mounted indoor or outdoors. Additional 240v and 12v cable may be needed to get to your Eagle Eye unit (not supplied with the kit). A timer is included to run lights as needed.

EE-KIT005 Eagle Eye LED Light Kit (supplied with light mast)

This is the standard light system and includes 2 x 12v (2w) LED’s. The LEDs must be connected to the 12v terminals (not any 240v connections). Adjust the timer supplied with EE-KIT001 and EE-KIT004 to suit the required time for light use. Purchase a plug-in type timer when using EEKIT003.

EE-KIT006 Eagle Eye LED Extension Kit (for powering additional units on buildings or orchards)

This kit contains an Eagle Eye (STD) unit and a 100m extension cable with water-resistant fittings. The kit must be used with an EE-KIT001, EE-KIT002 or EE-KIT003 which provides power to the unit. The idea of this kit is to save money and components so two units can be powered from a single power source.

Please note:

Some assembly is required for each kit and installation time will vary.
Eagle Eye RED as well as additional poles, bends and components can be ordered separately.
Poles, bends and bases are designed to be double-braced so a firm attachment to the building and maximum wind resistance is achieved.
Kits are supplied with screws and plugs for masonry. Use tech screws for timber and metal surfaces.
